Pleasant Day

Some work this morning, followed by lunch and games with Mom. She's so, so fragile these days. Today I pretty much had to move her backgammon pieces for her. She only lost by one point...her brain still works pretty well. Precious times indeed. Her 94th birthday is coming up on May 6th.

Spring is unstoppable now, and a wander in the garden last this afternoon showed all sorts of plants popping up, including this Wallflower - Erysinum - a member of the brassica family and a super, cool season bloomer. It actually will bloom much of the year here in western Oregon.
