Wem-ber-ley!

Oh gosh, my first properly late night out since L was born! How is that even possible? That means that the last one I had was likely to be in 2015!

It’s N’s 50th birthday today and England were playing at Wembley in a friendly against Côte D’Ivoire so we met up with a couple of his friends and went to see the match.

My parents came round and did teatime and bedtime with L. It was a late night for all the grown ups as we didn’t get in until nearly midnight. I’d forgotten about the kettling down Wembley Way to get back to the tube... it’s been so long!

Going to be tired tomorrow but it was good to be out. And England won 3-0 so that put the icing on N’s birthday cake, so it speak.
