Eltham Palace

English Heritage reopened some of their gardens today after the lockdown. It’s N’s birthday today so, when L was at school today, we spent a lovely few hours moseying around Eltham Palace gardens.

We also enjoyed a hot chocolate and a slice of carrot cake.

This afternoon, after school, my parents came over to sit in the garden with a cuppa. Hooray! My dad and N were challenged to a game of boule by L (who much prefers watching her shadow than watch where she’s throwing the ball).

A good day.

Oh, and the heating got fixed by the plumber... just a 15 min job but it made all the difference!
