Back Breaking Work

Our first day on the allotment.
Lot's of digging.
The soil was very stoney and didn't look as though it had been dug for a while so it was really hard work, but when we'd finished and scattered it with alpaca poo there was a real sense of achievement.
Janet got stuck in even though her fork wasn't the best and in the background Nelly was in a similar situation to us but wisely she'd brought up a drink and some empanadas that she'd made this morning, they were delicious, and Barley water has never tasted so good!
So hopefully that's the hard bit over and we can get planting this week.
