Flowerpot Fungus

Checking over my Bonsai seedlings I noticed a strange growth on one of the peat-pots used to grow them in. Closer inspection revealed a fungus, possibly one of the cup family.  Time to dig out the camera.   Checking the images later, it became clear that the white specs are actually moving and are tiny mites ... the pot, which is barren, will be relegated to the garden!
