Lambing

We went to Hadlow Farm College near Maidstone today for their lambing open day. N is away up north this weekend (more about that tomorrow) so we went with L’s pal E from nursery days and his mum.

It was heaving! For the first hour we thought we’d made a big mistake as we queued for ages to get in and then it was lunchtime and we queued for ages for some food and the only place free to sit to eat was on the concrete floor.

However, after that things improved as we explored the site.

Ice cream van
Kentish cheeses
Etc

When we got home I made the children some macaroni cheese and peas whilst S and I had a cuppa or two and a quiet sit!
