They know me well!

The card No1 son brought today (chosen by my d-i-l).  I had 2 or 3 things on my current list that needed his help!  Made me smile.
No2 son had a positive Covid test yesterday so did not visit as that would have been a possible unwanted present.  His wife has been ill for a week, so it was no surprise.  Their teenage daughter is fending for herself and spending time in her room hoping that she will escape the lurgy.
The extra is a small photo of my mother I have on my chest of drawers.  She died 31 years ago but was a tough character, bringing my sister and I up alone when my father died when I was 6.  Very little help in the way of benefits in those days and their was no pension from my father.
