CELEBRATION DAY1

So after lots of planning for Jane’s 60th birthday, organising a group of 30, finding a big accommodation to hire etc etc…lockdown last year meant it all had to be put on hold until her 61st!!!
Today it all started at last…..The Rev and I started the celebration early with a visit to #Bewl water…had our first picnic and a stroll. We then met 2 others in the local village for a coffee and a browse. We were told not to arrive before 5 but we got there a bit early!!!! The place is amazing….
#Fair Oak Farm…this is the farm house. There are also mini barns, hay loft, eco lodges, shepherds hut and an Oast house. The grounds are beautiful too and there are peacocks. There is also a party barn that can seat 30 of us and a bar and is now well stocked up!!!

After a few wrong turns the birthday girl arrived. Her husband kept sending messages saying
it’s like taming a caged tiger and Her FOMO Meter was overheating needed an ice pack :))))
#The evening meal was chilli supplied by a few couples (others had done soup, cakes for the weekend) followed by
#a very chocolatey chocolate cake made by her daughter.
