Audley End

On Friday we went down the county to the village of Clavering, drank too much prosecco in the sun and stayed in a ye olde pub which I failed to photograph.
Today we headed up to Northamptonshire to see family and stay over in a rather good barn opposite another ye olde pub.
In between times we dropped in on Audley End house and gardens and enjoyed a quick walk round. Definitely worthy of a return visit when the gardens are in their peak.
Tomorrow we have one more ye olde pub visit and meal to get through for Mother’s Day with my MiL and then I’m definitely going to feel in need of a break from eating and drinking!
