Cake For Breakfast

Well, She made it, despite her very tentative start to life.

We all headed out to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park this morning.
Not terribly impressed I have to say. 
SWMBO and I had ordered/paid for tickets on-line, No1 son was getting annual membership for him and the girls, so after the 10-15 minute hike from the car park, we queued up for 5 minutes and were through the turnstiles. We then waited touching on 45 minutes for No1 son and family to get through (even though the line for membership was a darned site less than the turnstiles line).

Must of the enclosures are very large but the access is all from one (very dusty) path along just one side of the enclosure giving the occupants every opportunity to get away and hide.

My main gripe though is that there are no short cuts or transport to get you back to the entrance/exit and there seemed to be a distinct lack of staff about. It is a very long walk (the pamphlet map has no scale to it and no clues as to distance/time) and the young, the elderly and the infirm really have a very hard time of it. I was extremely worried about SWMBO at one point and I have been chewing painkillers & anti inflammatories half the day.
