Waiting For The Train ............

............ for the last time. Don't you just love it when the commuters co-ordinate their wardrobes.

Last day of Daughter's drama festival. Thankfully for me it means I don't have to venture out at 7pm to head to Glasgow to meet her. (Or drive her to the train station at 7am).

However, sad for her that it is over. She has been pushed out of her comfort zone many times this week. Travelling on her own. Meeting lots of new people on her own. Activities she hasn't done before. She has positively thrived on it. I don't know when I last saw her this excited and energetic. She was very sad to say goodbye to her new friends. Lots of tears were shed, phone numbers exchanged, facebook details swapped.

Monday back at school is going to feel so flat back in the old routine. Only two weeks until study leave. Hopefully she can harness this energy and apply it to her studying.
