Catnapping
I got out of bed at 7.10 to prepare myself for the market. Indie the cat, who'd woken us earlier, was by then sleeping beside me and elected to stay put for a while longer. By the time we were ready to leave she'd done a disappearing act. Accordingly, we left the cat flap unlocked and went off to town.
When we returned some six hours later, Indie was very happy to be let out of my study, where she'd been trapped, and extremely hungry. I don't think she's one to learn from her mistakes. Curiosity, and all that.
I had a better day in the market than most Fridays of late, and that sun shone. My sore throat is a bit of a nuisance, though. LF tests today showed negative results. I'm taking life easy, to be on the safe side. Hayfever tablets and decongestants don't touch it. However, I continue to clear out books: I donated seven today, and have picked out seven for tomorrow. Tempting as Ron's 20p book box was in the market today, I refrained from picking any. I did have a lie down in the hammock after work, though, and carried on reading Ali Smith's third in her quartet of seasonal novels, Spring.
