Back Bay for Lunch

We decided to go for a drive a little south of the house and to "hug the H20." Beyond Morro Bay is a tiny community of Baywood Park. A person would have to be hunting to find it or know that it was there and aim for it. We knew, and we also knew that there are several choices of eating places and we wanted some lunch.

So this is our view from our lunch table at the Maya Restaurant, where they serve delicious Mexican food. I ordered a chili releno with refried beans and Mr. Fun ordered a releno and beef taco with rice and black beans. We exited a bit later more than stuffed.

Then we took the pups out of the car (which was parked in the shade) and strolled along the edge of the bay and then over to a large grassy area. They love kicking-up their back feet on the lawn. Watching them do this, let's us know they do not get to do it often enough.

We both ate enough food at our lunch "by the bay" that later we skipped our evening meal and snacked on popcorn while watching a movie.
