Sigh

Another indoors day as the sand coated everything. We had expected that at least our last couple of weeks here would be balmy spring weather. Ha! I can't see us having a beach day. That said, it's not cold -- about 18C. Extra: the "view" from the terrace.

We were invited to dinner by F and T this evening (Thursday), hence backblipping. We'd considered walking but in the circumstances we ended up in a taxi. They'd invited L and H as well, and it was a pleasant evening -- T, who is Japanese, had prepared several small and delicious starters, followed by a mild curry. Their flat is on the top floor of a block on a hill which normally has fabulous views but not today ... plus the wind was howling around it. So tropical!
