How do you show when something is soft? Well, including an element that contrasts with it might be one way. I debated whether to include the foreground reeds and they do help in that regard, but also they balance with the dark trees diagonally opposite.

After the ducks put sufficient distance between us, I was left with an empty lake, almost. I could hear them in the distance, but other than that it was still. Magical. Until the drizzle got to me.
