Solden

We had a Facebook  message early this morning with an apology from the person who accidentally took my skis. Both pairs restored to their rightful owners/ hirers with no damage done. Phew!
We decided to go down the valley to Solden today on the bus and have a day skiing there. 
It’s been so warm all week that the conditions have very much deteriorated even since the beginning of the week. It’s icy first thing then slushy after a short while.
We had a pretty relaxed day enjoying the sunshine, and called into the James Bond exhibition in Solden which tells the story of the filming of “ Spectre” . We also had a huge Appelstrudel and coffee for lunch which was rather good and very expensive..
Going for a dip in the heated outdoor pool attached to the hotel later. It’s not part of this rather basic hotel. But we are allowed over to the posh side to use the facility.
Photo is the view across the Austrian Alps to Italy from the mountain restaurant and James Bond experience place. It’s 3000 metres up , no wonder we got puffed walking up to the viewing platform.
