Cat Walk
Percy was out enjoying the sunshine when we got back from our walk this afternoon.
TM booked the car in for some work on the exhaust system, he could hear a rattle. The garage man had a look, removed a little bit of aluminium and said it was an unnecessary component and why would we want to spend £50 to replace it! That was music to our ears, and we didn't have to walk home ...
And it meant we could take the boot-full of moss that TM has raked off the drive lawn to the garden refuse facility. On the way home we stopped to visit a nursery garden which I've been meaning to look at. There was a little car park just by the sign, so we set off down the little road. Fifteen minutes later we were still walking .... we came to it eventually, and of course it was shut! It wasn't even a particularly nice walk, round the back of an industrial estate and the station car park. And the nursery looked very dilapidated. But we did see some nice clouds and rays.
I've decided to abandon the hand-quilting till the autumn. I'm still not very proficient, so maybe I'll practice on something a bit smaller for a while.
