Optic Illusion

I've been fascinated by shadows recently, but I seem to have trouble photographing what I see. They have a strange impermanence that appears to resist documentation, even as artistic abstraction.

This shot isn't quite what I was going for, but it's as close as I could get it.

In other news today, I enjoyed a surreal moment when I heard the ice cream truck go by as I was watching a commercial about starving kids.
