Terrific Topiary

Christmas prezzies to ourselves and family were a year's membership of Historic Houses, and today in warm sunshine we were already reaping the benefit. The gardens were a joy and we were even able to walk in the private gardens, open to members for a brief period. Loved the topiary, especially the dragon, at Burghley Park.

There were swathes of daffodils and other spring flowers. Little Miss B wove her way into one patch without treading on or breaking a single flower. She said they were her friends! (See Extra)

And if I've walked 12,000 steps, her little legs must have done at least that (even allowing for breaks in the pushchair). Utterly exhausted, but a lovely day! Zzzzzz.....
