What a wonderful bird is the pelican . . . .

After meeting the village manager at the retirement village at Davistown this morning we went back down to the ferry wharf  to check out the walking tracks alongside the waterfront. We encountered this pelican perched at the top of a very tall telegraph pole. The extra shows that the pelican is literate and very willing to contribute to community life.
