T-Wood and Caerketton Craigs

Another lovely day. Sunny but a bit breezier than yesterday. The wind is coming off the North Sea, so feels very cool. I used the road bike, so no mudguards to slow me down in the wind. Also not overdressed this week. Out along the Innocent Railway and down to Musselburgh  I follow the coastal road as far as Aberlady, do the loop around Luffness, then back along the coast road to Musselburgh. I head home via Shawfair and the Braids. A nice 68.24km.

The ride can be seen at Relive here.

The photos are from the afternoon's walk to Swanston. While bright and sunny, the breeze is a bit stronger than this morning. Where sheltered from the wind, it feels very warm. The blip is view from just above the village. Extra 1 shows horses in a field near the T-Wood. No extensive vistas as it is too hazy. No Ochil hills, and North Berwick Law is just a feint outline. On the way back, I spot three butterflies in the park, Extra 2 shows the one I managed to get in focus.
