Blair Drummond
As part 2 of 2 of P's birthday weekend we took a trip to Blair Drummond Safari park today, where I haven't been since I was very small! We saw lots of cool animals, and the safari park road got blocked by by a big cow (Ankola cattle), a white rhino and a camel who really didn't want to move. We didn't get any monkeys on the car as they generally all seemed pretty sleepy, but we did get to witness one monkey running off with someone else's windscreen wiper which is quite funny when it's not happening to you.

Lots of possible blips today, but the best photos weren't of the exotic animals. The sad penguin going home almost made the cut (as anyone who follows my mum's journal will know how big my penguin soft spot is), as did the regal sleeping peacock and the deranged alpaca was considered. However the best shot of the day was of this heron who was hanging around the penguin pool and who was obviously onto a good thing when feeding time came around.
