Trying out a new nest site

The swans at the castle always nest close to the road.  They have been tring out a new place today and pulling the vegetation into the right place.  Unfortunately it's still right by the road only even more vunerable as there's not even a fence between them and the pavement.  The passers by show how close it is.  (I didn't disturb them, I used the zoom).  I hope that they'll find a better spot! 

It's been a lovely sunny day so I have been busy in the garden doing some of the many jobs required at this time of year.
