About Time

One of my favourite films. Today was a good day. About time. 

What a difference the sun makes to, well to everything. Glorious day, eating lunch outside albeit 'only' sarnies. Tbf you can't go wrong with a good sarnie. Then sitting outside reading - first time this year. 
Followed by an evening out with friends that we've known for 30 years but hardly see. A group of us all met as pregnant first timers through the NCT and pop back into each others lives every so often. We met for a meal and Heidi joined us - unexpectedly for most of us - and it was bloody lovely to see her. Not seen her for about 25 years. She hasn't had an easy time putting it mildly and due to various traumas really doesn't see how marvellous she is, to be were she is now despite or because of it all. A real life Superwoman. 
We've decided to meet up again in a couple of months - just us girls - which will be fun and I'm going to look into finding a place we can go all for a weekend to celebrate our eldest's being 30 at the end of the year. 

Falling behind a bit with commenting and staring on here but I'll get to it.
