In waiting

Having seen pictures of mountains of nursery polyanthus destined for the compost heaps this week, we can just hope that the same fate does not befall these young geranium plants. Here they are in the local nursery, all ready and waiting for summer time. I love choosing the different colours to go in the containers and hanging baskets. The different shades and the smell of geraniums sum up summer for me.

Meanwhile it is cold and damp here again and I'm not gardening. I know I really should stop moaning about the weather, but really . . . . . . . . . .
