Old roof

We had our monthly lunch out with friends today. We chose a restaurant in a sixteenth century cottage in Shere. Good meal, good company. The old building is little altered from the original and has very low beams, a challenge to six foot four Normous. I loved the texture of the roof tiles in the rain, and I braved the weather and climbed some steps alongside the little building to take my blip.

It is very much warmer than of late and the garden is soaking up the April showers.
