Trees in Fairmilehead Park

Saturday. A busy day as partner is working. I lie a wee bit longer than I wanted to, but it's the weekend. Manage to get the second lot of washing on before heading to the park to get my Saturday time lapse of the local park. I also get the Extra walking through the woodland captured above. I like the stripes the trees make at this time of year. Definitely a day for all the windows to be open.

The timing works out well for the rest of the morning, coffee, grocery delivery and second lot of washing finishing in neat sequential order. So fit the new cat flap, then do some bike maintenance. It is looking good for tomorrow, so might get out on the proper road bike.

After lunch a nice walk down to Morningside to get weekend groceries. I know it's warm, but I don't think it's short sleeve weather, but what do I know. Get home and wait for my partner to come home before heading up to the italian café for afternoon coffee and cake.

Watch the start of the third series of the Welsh crime drama Hidden. Reminds me of Hinterland, only it takes place in Snowdonia rather than the area around Aberystwyth. Apparently this is the last series. Can't wait for the new tv to arrive though. A 19inch tv is too small for the subtitles, although 'Yeah' is the same in Welsh and English. The same for the answers in Pointless.
