A different pace of life

Despite the fact that our home is reasonably remote, up until two years ago hundreds of people would pass by, more than 30,000 feet above our heads on a very busy flight path. Well, it was busy until Covid hit us all in March 2020. For over a year a plane was a very rare sight and even now there are nowhere near as many as there used to be. The one that caused this feathery jet trail in the blue sky high above my head was more than six hours into a journey from Louisville, Kentucky to Cologne and it still had over an hour before it reached its destination.
