Plaza de la Puerta del Sol

Lots to see in Madrid today, starting with a morning looking at art in the Museo Reina Sofia.  Then a walk around the Parque del Retiro, to the Palacio de Cristal and some people watching at the Monument to Alfonso XII. Across town to the Palazzo Real, which was being observed by numerous people and queued for by others.
