Sally Mair - Loving life

Fishy business

Sometimes the weeks just fly by, hard to believe it is Thursday already. This morning I was in the garden mainly clearing up all the rubbish of accumulated over the last couple of days and putting it into the correct bins.
Back inside, I gave the fish tank its regular clean. There are 10 fish in this image. It does look good when it is just cleaned. I'm saving a fortune on plants too now I've realised I can grow this one in the garden pond.
Ali ran across at lunch time with Josie in the buggy and looked remarkably good for having done so (extra). She was using the buggy Kathryn had for her girls, which is designed for running with. Just to add to our pleasure Kathryn had, very unusually for her, taken a day back that was due to her, so she came over as well. It was lovely to have both of our girls here, without children taking all of our focus. (Josie is not as demanding during conversation yet as the other two are!).
I ran Ali home again, just as well as we had an absolute downpour this afternoon.
I sat , unbelieving, watching the way that the news that the P&O staff had lost their jobs was broken to them. Totally unacceptable.
Keep safe folks.
