Two Ducks

Wibble wobble ... On the river, not a pond. During one of the sunny intervals.  There seem to be lots of male mallards, all looking very dapper. But where are all the lady ducks, only a couple of them to be seen. 

I was excited to see three mergansers, two male and one female. Haven't seen those on the Jed. I couldn't get a decent shot of them because of the vegetation and a steep, muddy bank. I draw the line at falling in the river in pursuit of a shot.
