Gateway to the Tor

The gateway actually leads to Great Tor which is in the opposite direction.

It's been a fine day but I had some stuff to sort out in the morning. Fortunately the good weather lasted well into the afternoon. I went up to the moor and parked near Holwell Lawn. I walked through to Great Tor and explore a few angles before I walked back. As I approached this gate I wondered if I could use it to frame Hay Tor in the background. I found getting tight up to the wall I could get the angle and I liked this one best from the day.
