Crocuses in Forres

Drove back to Edinburgh today. Had breakfast at Cafe 1496 in Forres first and a walk around the town admiring the superb drifts of crocuses in different locations.

A final few minutes with O snd his family before setting off south. We had a pit stop in Pitlochry for coffee and scone and a walk. Not the most beautiful of strolls with the noisy A9 always in earshot.

The walkway across the dam was closed preventing us doing the circuit we planned. The grey weather didn’t help either.

The remainder of the journey passed uneventfully and even the sun came out as we crossed the Firth of Forth.
