A day of treats

Awake early, slept ok, felt a bit flat early on, but soon got myself going.

Got ready to go meet up with my sis, taking her out for lunch as it was her birthday yesterday. I arrived a bit earlier than planned, popped into Vintage Ambience to reserve our table, then popped over the road for a quick coffee.

We had a lovely time, tasty looseleaf tea, followed by spicy Korean chilli chicken flatbread, and a gorgeous cocktail to finish off with :-) The barman, Carlos, also the owner, tends the bar with such flare, flings the bottles and glasses around like Tom Cruise in Cocktail…… doesn’t quite look like him though ;-)

Drove home, put some walking boots on, borrowed one of sis’s fleece coats, still chilly out of the sun….. a long walk with Kobi, then a cuppa as we got back. We also finally booked our Spa Day, which has now turned into an overnighter, originally planned for our birthdays last year, but we never got around to sorting it, so now its two days for last year and this years’ birthdays :-) We are actually going on my birthday in June which will be lovely.

Once BiL came home we freshened up, drove into Manchester to our usual curry house, Sangam, for our usual Chicken Rezala, mushroom rice and a half of draught cobra, all as good as always!!

We were running late, just dropped them back off at home and I flew off, to meet D&E at the pub quiz for 8pm, made it, just 2 minutes after 8. We came 4th so not too bad!

Again its coming up to midnight so time I said good night all!
