I'm 1/4 mile from everywhere

Think Hertford town council must have got a deal on their signposts....apparently everything worth seeing is 1/4 mile away. Thing is there's another one that is closer to the town centre, but still reckons it's 1/4 mile away from it all too!!
.....think I may be getting a bit too bothered?....perhaps it's time I went back to work?!
