Dripping wet

Today was a miserable one weatherwise, with the all too frequent grey skies and plenty of rain.  Indoors we kept cheerful with an early evening  family dinner of roast beef washed down with prosecco for the ladies and craft beers for the men! 
In other news:  UK households are to be offered £350 a month to host Ukranian refugees.  Sounds like a great idea in principle but at this stage is ill thought out and leaves dozens of questions unanswered.
