Roses

This is what we collected from the post office this morning. It is our utterly lush new carrier courtesy of Monkey Mei Tai. Its made from Natural Mamas exclusive Girasol, purple weft. Or, pretty purple wrap in other words. The wrap took aggeeeeeesssss to arrive but was worth the wait! Clever clever H turned it into a beautiful reversible Macintosh-inspired toddler carrier with stunning pixie hood. Katie loves it, Mama loves it, win win win!
We had a lovely morning. We met her friend E and family. Her little sister had a baby gym class, so I took the big girls to play in the soft play centre before Katie's class. They ran around for a while before they both had Serious munchies. They had a massive snack session! Katie had fun with Bobbobs at their class. The dance section was as always a favourite!
She wasnt over amused to go nursery, until she realised that Lesley was in today. She gets rather shy going in on a Friday, as she goes in when the room is full and her friends all wave and shout hi to her. Which makes her go super shy. But having Lesley today meant she had someone to scoop her up and cuddle her a while until she was ready to sit and eat lunch (which she troughed!) They did seed planting this afternoon, cress and have been talking about watching them grow.
She had her first snuggle in the Roses on the way home and as usual with Monkey Meitais, the sleepy dust was very strong. She did resist proper sleep but was extremely snuggled and nearly gave in!
When we got home, we had a summer wardrobe sort out. I got out the bag of last years clothes to work out what could stay/go and she very obligingly tried most of it on. Some of the dresses are now swing top length but on the whole, its quite a good result and most of it can stay!
PS Yes that is a Christmas tree to the right of the photo. She doesnt want it putting away. Well, it is her bedroom.
PPS Excuse the rubbish wrap job, she was extremely keen to get up and going!
