Sea see day

We are cruising on to Bergen, where we’ll dock tomorrow.

It was a lovely easy day of reading and ‘swimming’ and eating awesome food, and in a way, it was an unremarkable day until ‘The Northern Lights’ made a dramatic appearance late evening. I’d almost thought the day was ended until I saw a sort of fuzz in the skyline and got a camera out.

We’d kind of committed ourselves to waking an elderly American woman called Charlotte who hadn’t seen them yet but was desperate to, so Elbows went to get her and we watched the lights play for a couple of hours. It was totally awesome. Most of my photos are on my other proper camera which I can’t access until I’m home so this photo will have to do.

We saw so much better and it went on and on until I’d almost had enough and needed to sleep. Our American Octogenarian was enthralled and despite freezing, we kept watching and kept taking photos.

I have loved this cruise. It must end but it’s been the absolute best.
