YFC Conf. ‘22

My ever faithful body clock woke me 5 mins before my 5.30 alarm, sparing me the torture of being jolted awake. A merry train ride into Birmingham for our one-day staff conference. Though one day doesn’t quite make up for two separate missed weeks, it was delightful to see everyone again (and to sing worship together - a delight). As an introvert I’ve moaned a bit about conference in the past (as very much noted here on blip) but I don’t think I’ll ever take it for granted again. Time together is so precious.

An added bonus was seeing the Uni gang who were all up in Birmingham to say farewell to sakalasafari. A slightly rushed but very delicious lunch together.

A long day but a full heart.
