Human Rights Before Profits
The latest in the series of monthly, hour long demonstrations against ATOS took place this lunchtime outside their office in Norwich. Their office which people who use wheelchairs cannot actually get into.
Again, it was well attended despite some heavy showers and the response from passing motorists who hooted their horns, flashed their headlights or waved and shouted support was tremendous.
Here you see the feisty Maria, kerbside with her placard, horn and voice getting the message across loud and clear. She does a fabulous job in a voluntary capacity as co-chair of the Norfolk Association of Disabled LGBT people.

I had a long chat with the woman wearing a bright yellow sweatshirt with a bulls-eye target on the back and the following words on the front:
Aspergers
Learning disabled
Mentally ill husband
Autistic daughter
Living in social housing, 'scrounging' benefits.
