First Blossom

I found this lovely tree in full blossom, as I walked to the hairdressers this afternoon. The first haircut in 2022 was my highlight of today. It’s nice not to feel shaggy anymore.

Other activities included grocery shopping for my mother, as well as lunch and coffee with her and her team of carers. 

Later, I cooked a pot of vegan lentil soup, using up all kinds of leftover vegetables from our fridge. I always try to avoid throwing away foodstuff, and now it’s getting even more important, I think. Prices for groceries are soaring, and people start to hoard pasta, flour, cereals, tinned food, and (of course) toilet paper again…
