Curry Leaf
A leaf from our curry tree, which grows indoors in winter and outdoors in summer. I got it as a tiny seedling in 2005, after my first visit to India, when I tasted curry made with this seasoning for the first time and loved it. By now the tree is taller than I am, and its leaves often get used for soups, dals and curries.
An indoor day for me, as it's quite windy and wet outside (and I am glad for the rain, it's been way too dry lately).
I didn't have a bad reaction to the vaccination yesterday, but my left arm is quite sore and I can't get rid of a nagging headache. So I took it easy and worked for only five hours today.
This almost feels like a holiday...
