Memories

We have a great ‘Siblings’ WhatsApp group and although we are apart we are often together online.  My brother started a conversation about first records and the family record player.  He is younger than me and was probably made to listen to David Cassidy on loop.  He had a fabulous voice and was my teenage crush.  I saw him at Wembley when I was about 15 (saw but didn’t hear as all the girls were screaming too loudly). I also had a girls weekend to Cardiff about 6 or 7 years ago when he was doing the rounds.  ‘Have they dug him up’ we’re some of the unkinder comments?  Funnily enough we stayed in the same hotel as him (and the Samoan Rugby team, but that’s another story).  We saw him rushing through reception the next morning dressed in a rather unflattering 80’s shell suit?  RIP.

In other news - I did a volunteering shift talking to some interesting/sad/lonely people, had a walk along the river, OH cut the grass and beat me at scrabble.  Normal day.
