She’s poking in my toy basket again!
Marsha came for the morning. She loves coming here now, and rushes in past Archie to get to his toys. In fact, she spent the whole morning rooting in his toy basket to get yet another toy out and bringing it in to the lounge. If Archie made to grab one, she’d rush and grab it first. She didn’t want him touching any of her toys. Or HIS toys! What a gal! In fact, they had a tug of war over one of them. It was most entertaining just watching them. She’s the boss!
They also had a couple of run arounds out in the back garden - Marsha LOVES the ball, and dribbles it round the garden at speed like a wee footballer.
When JR came home from the gym, I went for my session. I had another go at the scary bendy-over contraption, and eventually, I could let go of the support handles for a few seconds. I did two lots of ten minutes on the cross trainer instead of a whole twenty minutes in one go - that’s just toooo much yet.
Once Marsha had gone home, I took Archie out for a walk, and JR took him out also when she came back from the supermarket.
I then snuggled down, with my blanket and with my little electric knee mat, and watched the rolling news & dozed… We had an email informing us that our gas/electricity costs will go up by £835.68. Phew!*#¥^€&¢±§!!
We’ll manage, but how on earth will people who are less well off cope with huge increases in absolutely everything?
