Limerick day 1: Tobar Phadraig

Just back from an epic couple of days in County Limerick - many wells including this fine one to the patron saint, St Patrick. The community spent a useful time renovating this well - it was whitewashed, the garden sorted, an imposing statue of the saint found in a hedge and re-erected and the interior statue (which came form Lourdes) give ab nice coat of paint and beautifully decorate.  Thanks to Jim for the info! Somewhere near Patrickswell (there's a clue there), County Limerick.
