Toilet

I know, I know.  I obsess about toilets.  But this one is very special.  

We have had the toilet bowl (see closeup in extras) for a couple of years, and it's been balanced preciously on a commode which was far too small for it.

We have dreamed about having a custom-made cabinet built for it, but such an artisan piece would have cost a small fortune - let's face it, it wasn't ever going to come up at auction.

One of our very talented volunteers is (in his spare time!) a cabinet maker, and his brother (also a cabinet maker) had access to a huge slab of flame cedar.  We paid for the wood, and the cabinet was custom built to fit inside the smallest room.  Of course our volunteer includes french polishing amongst his skills, so it's been french polished as well.

What an achievement!
