Bus Pass Walk

Rushing as usual to get to the village bus stop this morning, so not a good start when the bus didn’t turn up as it is half an hour until the next one. Still, at least we got a double decker!  Two buses taken to get us to Heckmondwike meeting ValC and Mr C on the way.  For for nostalgia’s sake we had a coffee in the cafe we had sometimes visited before lockdown.  It has been decorated since then and even has a coffee machine now - preciously if you asked for a latte you were bluntly told that just coffee with milk was available! :-) A nice walk under blue and sunny skies along the Spen Valley Greenway followed spotting the metal sheep etc.  I’ve always liked this ram, but more photos in extras.  Once we reached Cleckheaton we had a second cafe stop for lunch.  Think 9 of us turning up and having the furniture moved around confused the waitress somewhat as she forgot my lunch :-))  To save time re-ordered, and just had time to eat a sandwich. Buses home ran smoothly thankfully :-)
