On par

Awoke to grey skies, and once downstairs noticed a few raindropss on the windows.  Not liking many of this morning’s choice of songs for the community choir’s Zoom session I decided to do a morning walk in case the weather got worse.  A wander up past Lady Blantyre’s Rock, and a sneaky look into one of the “golfers only” areas where I saw this bench with a fresh bunch of daffodils.  The bench was dedicated to a member of the golf club.  The bunkers surrounding that green look to make it a difficult shot.  Only saw one dog Walker on my walk round, and although the air felt damp there was only a slight drizzle at one point on my walk.  Betty’s Lodge is for sale again - the current owners have done a lot of renovations and managed to create a third bedroom in the roof space.  It looks lovely, but with a price tag of £350,000  I would want somewhere further back from the road, and away from all the walkers and cyclists going past and peering in every day!
