Manchester is Blue

Woke with a headache first thing, after a long sleep, but it soon disappeared. Had breakfast, porridge with raspberries and a cuppa, before getting myself all ready to head into Manchester to meet up with “the girls” for lunch.

The traffic was fairly light so I had time for a coffee before parking up. I took this shot whilst sat at the traffic lights believe it or not, the colours caught my eye against the blue sky, hence the title, nothing to do with those “noisy neighbours” who play in blue!!

Had a lovely few hours, in TNQ in The Northern Quarter, nice food and plenty of chatter ;-) Talked about hub and how we cant believe its approaching a year!! Poor J had had a 4 hour journey, train signal problems….. she lives on Anglesey now. S her partner was going through his treatment at the same time as hub…..hes doing ok, the steroids are helping him. My journey home was long and slow, but only an hour in comparison.

Caught up on the first episode of Our House, when I got home, looks promising! Then had a light snack before a quick wash n brush up and off out to the pub quiz with D & E….. we did quite well, tied 3rd, with 2 other teams, who both had 6 players, compared to our 3!!

Still sat here with my coat on whilst uploading this…… been home half an hour now lol! Hey ho, time for bed, wonder what tomorrow will bring, sunshine hopefully!
