Elvis and Friend

It was my running club's annual 20 mile race on Sunday.  Most runners were well prepared with proper running gear.  This guy decided to run dressed up as Elvis.  He was even in character when I met him before the start, smiling and doing the usual Elvis "uh-huh".  This image was at 19.5 miles running up the hill towards the finish line.  I think the distance had take it toll as he was grimacing and the polity had disappeared.  I know he got a great deal of encouragement around the route from our marshals but I think he was glad to cross the finish line!  Good on him, and I have to say he and all the other runners out yesterday brought some cheer to a grim news day.  Thank you Elvis, whoever you are!
